High Time

So, Dina and I have been on the road in Europe for about three weeks now and I think it's about time to start on the blog. We are now in Munich, Germany about to head to Malaga, Spain tomorrow. Germany has been a blast! We started in Merkendorf, which is a small medieval town in Bavaria. It is 40 minutes from Nuremburg and about the same distance from the famous town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. (Wikipedia Link)

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was fully handicap accessible. Our daughter, Sadie had set up the apartment for us when we were planning to accompany her and our eleven year old granddaughter, Maddi to Germany. Sadie was taking a three month assignment with the army as a PA at the base in Ansbach. The job for Sadie fell through, but Dina and I decided to go anyway since we already had the tickets and paid the deposit on the apartment.
